SDJU visits the DIETI
A new day, full of ideas and positive implications, took place on April 16, at the headquarters of the DIETI Department. A delegation from the Chinese University Shanghai Dianji University and representatives of Federico II had a meeting.
For the Chinese delegation were present: Mr. Yang Junjie (Vice President of Shanghai Dianji University), MS. LI Jingchao (Director of the Department Science and Technology, Shanghai Dianji University), Mr. Wang Feng (General Manager of Shanghai Dianji Affiliad Asset Management and Operation Company (Shanghai Angdian Industrial Co., Ltd.)), Mr. Liu Weilian (Vice Dean of Aviation School, Shanghai Dianji University), Ms. Zhao Chenyi (Coordinator of International Affairs Office, Shanghai Dianji University) and Mr. Jian Wang (President of Ima Innocloud (Beijing) Technology Co. Ltd.); While for Federico the delegation was composed of: Prof. Fabio Villone (Director of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology), Prof. Sergio De Rosa (Delegated to Research Affairs of the Industrial Engineering Department), Prof. Carlo Forestiere (Responsible of DIETI Internationalization Office), Prof. Giovanni Breglio (DIETI Responsible for CI-LAM Project), Prof. Davide Marrocco (Rector Delegated of International Affairs for Asia and Far East).
The topics of discussion concerned possible collaborations in terms of exchanges of didactic content and activations of joint Double Degree programs, scientific copyings on common research issues and the participation of SDJU in the CI-LAM project. It is also discussed and developed the text of a Mou between the two university institutions which will soon be the signature of the respective rectors.
The day then continued in the afternoon at the San Giovanni in Teduccio headquarters. Where the Chinese delegation, accompanied by Prof. Breglio, was welcomed by Prof. Giorgio Ventre (Director of the Apple Developer Academy) for a visit to the Apple Academy at the DTlab Academy and other joint workshops of CeSMA.
The last part of this exciting visit to Naples of the SDJU delegation took place at SPICI where, welcomed by Dr Chiara Romano and Dr Carmine Russo, the delegates visited the laboratories of Fabbrica Italiana dell’Innovazione and met some Start-Ups incubated in SPICI.
